The Partnership

The Nine Gums Vineyard was bought in January 2001, with Alison and Malcolm Mackinnon, Nancy and Garry Watson, and Pene and Ian Davey forming the partnership. The first Brick Kiln Shiraz produced from the 8 hectare Nine Gums Shiraz Vineyard was from the 2002 harvest.

The Brick Kiln name comes from the nearby Brick Kiln Bridge (there was a brick kiln close to the property 139 years ago) on Almond Grove Road as one approaches the vineyard.

In 2017 the happy and successful partnership was dissolved to allow Malcolm and Alison to continue their passion of selling Brick Kiln Shiraz.

As friends a passion we
